5. Worthington This golf course is one of those where thoughtfulness is every bit as much of an ally as ball-striking ability. Bunkers and water hazards enter play only when an ill-struck shot is directed at them, bringing back the forgotten "bump and run" shot. There are no "gimme" holes on the course. However, all 18 can be a pleasure when played correctly.
One of these 18-hole golf courses, designed by Arthur Hills, has been nominated by Golf Digest as one of the best new private courses in America. The "Creek" course is much longer than the "Quail" course; one course stressing distance, the other accuracy while both still being fair to the golfer. Both 18-hole courses possess beautiful pine trees and water hazards to catch the errant shot. Both courses have been renovated recently to maintain top playing conditions.

Always in top playing condition, this course features fast greens and closely mowed fairways. The golfer is challenged with many shots of different lengths. Many holes are bordered by natural vegetation with no holes running parallel to one another.
10. Imperial Golf A 36 hole golf club with contrasting 18-hole layouts that fit any golfer's demands. The course tends to play long but fair from all sets of tees. The West course is more of a placement course, requiring the golfer to negotiate doglegs where more water is present. The greens on both courses were recently renovated to keep the course in top condition.

generous, . In contrast to several Florida courses, the player is forced
to challenge tree-lined fairways, large bunkers, and rough. Some
water is present. 24. Foxfire Most definitely, Arthur Hills did a wonderful job designing
this 27-hole golf course. This relatively short course allows the
